BATALLA MMA FIGHT ENTERTAINMENT and MYSTERY FORMER UFC FIGHTER SIGN PARTNERSHIP PRODUCTION DEAL

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Batalla MMA Fight Entertainment announced that it has signed a partnership deal with a former veteran UFC fighter. The agreement is for the creation and development of mixed martial arts reality television shows.

The Barcelona based MMA event and television production company did not release the name of the former Ultimate Fighting Champion. “In a few days we will release the name of our new partner”, said Jordi Hernandes, PR Manager for Batalla. “His personal fans as well as UFC fans will be happy that he is back in the game. Not as a fighter, but as a supporter, promoter and advocate of MMA on a global level”, he added.

Near future plans for Batalla and the mystery former UFC fighter are to create and develop several mixed martial arts television reality shows that take MMA fans behind the scenes of the fighter world. “Fans need to connect with the MMA fighters to really understand the depth of the sport. Simply putting a few fight hungry men in a house and telling them to act wild is not a reality of the fighter life”, said Mark Lugo, Founder & President of Batalla. “All fighters have a real unique story to share. That’s where we want to focus...On the fighters’ stories”, he explained.

Taping of the first Batalla reality show is scheduled to start in March 2015. Casting is already on the way for fighters looking to participate. Participants can visit Batalla’s website for more information and the official casting entry form.
