BRIAN STANN TO APPEAR ON ESPN’S 'MMA LIVE'

(PRESS RELEASE) -- In an exciting development, UFC fighter “All
American” Brian Stann has been tapped to appear on ESPN’s “MMA
Live.” The interview will be shown on Thursday night/Friday morning
at 10 PM PT/1 AM ET on ESPN2.
On the show, Brian will be talking about his new autobiography, Heart for the Fight, his work with his charity organization, Heroes for Hire, as well as his career with the UFC.
Heart for the Fight, which will be released in mid-September, is
drawing rave reviews from media, including About.com (“One of the
better sports biographies I've read in a long time”) and UFC.com
(“By far the best fighter bio I've seen -- both because Brian has
actual stories to tell, and because the writer can really write”).
This enthralling read tells stories from Stann’s time in the cage
as well as the armed forces, where he experienced many battles in
Iraq and reached the rank of captain, garnering a Silver Star in
the process for his valor.
While active in his fighting career, Brian also currently runs a non-profit organization, Hire Heroes USA. This wonderful organization helps veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts find jobs upon transitioning out of the service.
“All American” is coming off a huge victory over Mike Massenzio at UFC on Versus 2. The bout was an evenly matched affair that saw crowd-pleasing action from start to finish. In the 3rd round, Stann was able to utilize his ground skills and secure a fight-ending triangle choke near the end of the fight. Both Stann and Massenzio earned bonus checks for their “Fight of the Night” performances.
