Bellator 48 official weigh-in/pre-fight press conference scheduled for 5:00 p.m. EST Friday

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The weigh-in and pre-fight press conference for
Bellator Fighting Championships’ Saturday evening event at the
Mohegan Sun Arena will take place FRIDAY at 5:00 p.m. EST inside
the Mohegan Sun at the Pequot Room, 1 Mohegan Sun Boulevard in
Uncasville, CT 06382. Fighters will begin taking the scale at 5
p.m. EST.
Headlining the show will be the highly anticipated fight with Pat Curran taking on Marlon Sandro in the finals of Bellator’s “Summer Series” Featherweight Tournament. Cole Konrad, Bellator Heavyweight World Champion, will face MMA veteran Paul Buentello in a heavyweight non-title fight.The card will also feature former UFC Heavyweight Champion Ricco Rodriguez taking on Seth Petruzelli in a Heavyweight Feature Fight. The event will be emceed by Bellator cage announcer Michael C. Williams and Bellator color commentator Jimmy Smith.
