Bellator 56 official weigh-in scheduled for 5:00 p.m. EST Friday, October 28th At Argosy Casino

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The weigh-in and pre-fight press conference for Bellator 56 will take place FRIDAY at 5:00 P.M. EST inside the Argosy Casino in the Athens Room, located at 777 N.W. Argosy Pkwy, Riverside, MO 64150. Bellator 56 will take place at Memorial Hall on Saturday, October 29th with the first fight taking place at 7 p.m. ET and streaming LIVE on The televised portion of the night will begin at 9 p.m. ET and will air LIVE on MTV2 and in commercial-free HD on EPIX2.

All participants from Saturday night’s event will be on hand, including Welterweight Champion Ben Askren who takes on Season 4 tournament winner, Jay Hieron as well as heavyweight semifinalists Neil Grove, Eric Prindle, Thiago Santos and Ron Sparks..

The event will be emceed by Bellator cage announcer Michael C. Williams and Bellator color commentator Jimmy Smith.

As always the weigh-in is open to both the public and media.
