(PRESS RELEASE) -- A newly formed Northern/Central California based
promotion has emerged, "Art of War productions" founded and
established by Tom Theofanopoulos and Roy Arriola, both men having
an extensive background in Mixed Martial Arts.
Tom has a black belt in both kajukenbo and BJJ, and is the owner of Oakdale, Merced and Sonora Mixed martial arts academies which happens to be the home to UFC veteran and rising star Michael McDonald.
Roy is a professionally licensed match maker through the California
State Athletic Commission and a current mma fighter. Together they
formed Art of War productions. They are set to unleash their first
ever Mixed Martial Arts event ”Bound by Honor” Jan 28, 2012 at the
newly remodeled Chicken Ranch Bingo & Casino in Jamestown Ca.
Fans can expect to see an actioned packed night of full fledged MMA starting at 6pm. Come out and be a part of history! Support your favorite up n coming Athletes!
“We want to give opportunities to those fighters that are not quite ready for the bigger shows. We want to attract those up and coming athletes of all skill levels, from the amateur ranks on through to the professionals. We want to create a safe and controlled environment for everyone involved.”
Headlining the event will be two rising stars, Last Stand Fight Team’s very own Ramoni Kuete (3-2) will battle Team Alpha Males Paul Ruiz (2-1). In the co-main event Sonoras Oscar Martinez(3-2) will battle the always tough and scrappy Nicholas Christy (4-3) , these two always put it all on the line and this night will be no different, Also on the card making their professional debuts are Last Stand Fight Teams hard hitting amateur champion Eloy Garza as he laces em up vs Madera's Raul Estrada, with both men both coming off very successful amateur careers. They are now ready for the next level.
Art of War productions is bringing fighters from all over for its first event; Athletes from Oakdale MMA,Urijah Faber’s Ultimate Fitness, Salinas Main Stream Kick boxing, Tulares Kings Knights, Turlocks Team Voodoo, and many many more exciting fighters ready to put on an exciting show!
