The main event lightweight title fight featuring featherweight champion, Drew Brokenshire, and lightweight champion, Justin Harrington, had been talked about as being a potential fight of the year candidate as both fighters have a legitimate argument that they’re ready for the next level. The fight crowd came in full force when Brokenshire and Harrington stepped into the cage. Everyone in attendance was on their feet with half chanting “Ruckus” while the other half showed their support for Brokenshire with loud “Drew” chants.

After a scrappy first round, Brokenshire took the fight to the ground in the second round and again displayed his superb ability to dominate in the wrestling game taking Harrington’s back and slipping in the rear naked choke forcing Harrington to tap at the 3:02 mark. Brokenshire defeated four time Oregon high school state wrestling champion, Talon Hofman in his previous fight at CageSport 29.

In the semi-main event, Tacoma’s Alfonso Gonzales kept his record flawless, defeating Jared Torgeson via split decision to become the number one contender to challenge Brent Knopp for the highly coveted CageSport middleweight title. In the second round of the entertaining three round bout, Gonzales excited the local fight crowd when he connected on a right hook to the chin of Torgeson that dropped him to the mat. While the majority of the crowd thought the fight was over, Torgeson persevered and stayed strong, making it to the final bell.
