Busting with pride

Feb 26, 2009
(PRESS RELEASE) -- I probably don't do this enough, but I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those that come out to watch and support the Danger Zone event this Saturday in Sturgis, Michigan.

The weather was bad and there was an accident right down the road from the building we were holding the event in. They had forced the road to be closed for a short period of time and the fans still came out. It might of been cold and snowy outside, but the action was hot and exciting inside the cage! Twelve bouts had the place cheering and clapping their hands in appreciation.

On a personal note, the pride that I felt as I watched each of the Michigan Sports Camps participants as they took to the cage... words cannot express. For a couple of them it was their first match and for others it was their 5th or 6th. Never-the-less to still have that few of matches and to show the poise and skill made me a very proud person. Many of you have matured in leaps and bounds in the past few months. You should be proud of yourselves as I am very proud of how you represented yourself and our school. I Thank you.

I hope that anyone reading this takes the time to watch the young talent who are trying to learn, trying to get noticed and trying to get that one opportunity that could make them the next big thing in MMA. This event will be released on DVD soon. For those fight promoters looking to book solid talent, or for those MMA fans wanting a great event on DVD... don't pass this one up. Get the details at my website www.the-beast.com.

Lastly, Congrats to Derek O' Neil. Derek has been staying at Michigan Sports Camps for some time and competing for over a year. Our Danger Zone events are not just about MMA and competition... it's entertainment and family friendly. After his victory on Saturday night, Derek proposed to his future wife in the middle of the cage. That goes to show you... you don't know what your going to see at a "Danger Zone" event.

All the best, from The Beast...
