CFFC Top Brass Promotes Garcia and Welcomes Caplan as New Matchmaker
Dec 17, 2011 Comments
(PRESS RELEASE) -- 2011 has been an eventful year for Cage Fury
Fighting Championships (CFFC). With seven events in the books, CFFC
has established itself as one of the premiere organizations in the
east coast. To take the organization to the next level, CFFC has
hired Andria Caplan as the new matchmaker. “The services provided
by Andria and CSM are going to allow CFFC to remain at the
forefront in the MMA industry,” said CFFC President Rob Haydak.
“Through our conversations, it was apparent that we share a similar
vision of what it takes to be successful as a regional promotion.
To say that we have improved as an organization with Andria, would
be an understatement.”
Caplan is not only a professional mixed-martial-arts (MMA) fighter, she is a licensed matchmaker in Pennsylvania and has booked matches for several other events. She sees working in New Jersey as a great opportunity. “Atlantic City is one of the most historic fight towns in the world and in just one year since returning CFFC has made its brand synonymous with the city,” said Caplan upon her hiring.
“Atlantic City is where I made my professional debut as a fighter
and I can't wait to begin to match fights for CFFC's loyal fan base
as the promotion looks to build its brand further in 2012 and
beyond.”
Former matchmaker, Arias Garcia Jr. has been promoted to General Manager of CFFC and will oversee multiple CFFC operations including matchmaking, social media, fighter relations, marketing, and television production. “From day one, Arias was committed to our business strategy and has consistently gone above and beyond to help us achieve our goals,” said Haydak. “As General Manager, he will be more involved with all aspects of the business and directly oversee key components of fighter and public relations. Arias brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to CFFC, the decision to give him a bigger role was easy.”
“I feel honored that Rob (Haydak) and Joe (Stant) asked me to be the General Manager of CFFC,” said Garcia. “It was a great experience being the matchmaker for 2011 and I look forward to helping CFFC grow in the next year.”
CFFC has big plans for next year and major news will be released in the next few days in regards to CFFC’s expansion and television. Stay tuned!
