CSC Partners with WKA to Send Fighters to World Championships

Aug 6, 2009
(PRESS RELEASE) -- Combat Sports Challenge is making its second appearance at the Sheraton Richmond West, which was a great success with fans at its debut partnership back in May. The Sheraton is an upscale hotel featuring great food, a relaxing and sophisticated atmosphere, and multi-use venue space. CSC has contracted the Sheraton for a series of events, which will include amateur MMA and Muay Thai with premier seating in the outdoor Pavilion, upscale professional MMA and Muay Thai in the Banquet facility, and tournaments combining MMA, Muay Thai, and BJJ/No Gi Grappling.

Join us August 22 for another exciting, hard-hitting MMA/Muay Thai fight show, including top level fighters from well-known and talented teams as Global Academy, Hybrid Academy, Team COMBAT, Ascension MMA, Evolve Academy, and many more.

See featured fighters like:

*Still undefeated local favorite Michael "The Kid" Goodman,

*Global Academy's Dave Stahl

*Team COMBAT's Jack "The Mean" Greene,

*Evolve Academy's crowd-pleasing Steven Dang

And many other talented fighters making their way through the ranks!

Premier seating for this event will be limited, but reserved to ensure everyone a good vantage point, so be sure to get your tickets as soon as possible! Limited to no seating will be available the night of the show, so don't wait until the event to get your tickets. Fans will not only see the best MMA and Muay Thai match-ups in Richmond, but will also be treated to a full cash bar, upscale concessions, and in-venue after-fight party at Shula's 2 Restaurant.

HELP SUPPORT THE US NATIONAL TEAM!

At CSC 29, you'll get the same quality MMA and Muay Thai fights you love, but with an added bonus: your ticket purchase will help the US National Team make it to the WKA World Championships in Spain! These fighters have trained hard and fought their hardest at the WKA North American Combat Sports Championships on June 27th. They battled to the top of their divisions and are ready to take their game to Worlds in Huelva, Spain, October 27-November 3. Proceeds of CSC 29 will go toward team members as they prepare to show the world what kind of talent the US has got!
