California USA Wrestling and Clinch Gear Host Two Consecutive State Wrestling Championships

(PRESS RELEASE) -- March is a busy month for Selland Arena in
Fresno, California. California USA Wrestling is hosting two state
championship tournaments, sponsored by Clinch Gear, over
consecutive weekends, March 11-13 and March 18-20.
Freshmen and sophomore boys will compete, as well as high school girls in the folkstyle wrestling tournament that commences on March 11, 2011. The tournament, held over three days, hosts approximately 1,000 young wrestlers as they contend for folkstyle championship belts and medals. Weigh-ins and registration is Friday, March 11, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The tournament begins on Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 a.m. For details visit www.ca-usaw.org or visit www.trackwrestling.com to pre-register for the event.
The tournament held March 18-20, 2011 is the annual Kids Folkstyle
State Championship. Approximately 1,000 elementary and middle
school kids will compete over the two-day tournament with weigh-ins
on Friday, March 18 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Competition starts
