Countdown has begun to the world’s biggest kickbox event: IT’S SHOWTIME!

IT’S SHOWTIME in the Amsterdam Arena, May 29.
Throughout the years, our annual Amsterdam event has grown out to be the biggest kickbox event in the world. With an attendance of 20,000 fans and a unique amphi theatre setting, IT’S SHOWTIME Amsterdam is a very special event, both to the fans as well as the fighters.
The best and most popular kickboxer in the world, Badr Hari, will
defend his IT’S SHOWTIME World Heavyweight Title against the
upcoming star Hesdy Gerges. This fight has quite an edge: Badr Hari
used to train at Thom Harinck, who is now the trainer of Hesdy
Gerges and there is ‘some tension’ between these camps, to say the
least...
Another fight that could easily be a main event on any kickbox event in the world is Melvin Manhoef vs Gokhan Saki. Manhoef is worldwide known to be more explosive than a truckload of TNT. Both in kickboxing and MMA, many opponents have never made it to the final bell. Saki, on the other hand, has the reputation to be very fast and dangerous. This fight is very likely to not make it to the end of the third round!
The previous editions already had incredibly strong fight cards, but this year surpasses the previous editions again. This year almost the entire world elite under 70kgs will be present in the ArenA, and also the new Brazilian IT’S SHOWTIME world champion 77 max Cosmo Alexandre, who will fight against none other than Nieky Holzken, will enter the ring. But also the Japanese K-1 Max star Yoshihiro Sato can be admired in the ArenA. Sato will face the very strong, and perhaps strongest, Thai in this weight class: Pajonsuk. 



Artur Kyshenko will fight in The Netherlands for the very first time in history. This Ukranian super talent will fight the reigning IT’S SHOWTIME world champion 70kg max, Murat Direkçi. Also, fan favorite Gago Drago will go to war with the very aggressive Leroy Kaestner. 

IT’S SHOWTIME May 29 will feature fighters from all around the world. Some countries are: Brazil, Ukraine, Morocco, Turkey, Surinam, Bosnia, Japan, Thailand and other countries.
