DaMMAge Fight League Headliners Liguori and Salgado Set to Collide

(PRESS RELEASE) -- DaMMAge Fight League’s debut, called “The Big Bang,” is rapidly approaching. The event will take place at the Taj Mahal Casino Hotel in Atlantic City on Wednesday, November 24th and will be broadcast live on GoFightLive.tv.

Headlining the stacked and stellar card are UFC and EliteXC veteran Chris “The Story” Liguori (11-8) and M-1 and Ring of Combat veteran John “Greco” Salgado (4-3-1). Both men are expecting fireworks in their fight and acknowledge each other’s skills.

“I have a very tough and dangerous opponent ahead,” said Liguori. “But I’ve prepared to the best of my abilities and had the absolute best training camp. I know he comes out to bang and I’m prepared to do the same. I’m ready to do whatever it takes to win this fight.”

Salgado, who says he was “born to fight,” feels the same way. “I think Liguori’s a great fighter. For a young guy he’s been around a long time and he’s fought some of the best in the game. That’s why I’m looking forward to fighting him myself.”

Both men expect to bang. The fans expect a Big Bang. And they’re going to get one. Chris Liguori and John Salgado both have reputations as fierce warriors in the cage, and both are seeking to be DaMMAge Fight League’s top dog at 155 pounds. They know the promotion is going to be a big thing on the East Coast and want to make the best possible impression to the fans and to the promotion.

The stacked card does not stop at the main event, however. There are many other great fights taking place at the show, including a much anticipated and talked about match between two of MMA’s finest female fighters, Tara LaRosa (18-2) and former Strikeforce title contender Takayo Hashi (12-2). Both of these fighters bring excellent records into their bout, and both plan on wowing the crowd with spectacular performances.

In addition, UFC veteran Mike Massenzio (11-4) will be taking on undefeated Andrew Riddles (5-0). Both men have reputations for exciting fights and will be laying it all on the line come November 24th.

And as if that wasn’t enough, promoter Carl Mascarenhas has put together another featured bout that has fight fans buzzing. Two former UFC fighters, Kevin “The Shaman” Jordan (11-8) and Brandon Lee Hinkle (14-10) will be clashing in a heavyweight contest. Both men are looking to reinvigorate their careers after recent losses and will be sure to bring fireworks in their fight.

And of course, MMA and UFC legend Mark Coleman will also be in attendance at the Taj Mahal for the Big Bang event. He’ll be cornering Hinkle as well as treating ticketed fans to a meet and greet session.

“The Big Bang” will take place on Wednesday, November 24th at the Taj Mahal Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Tickets are on sale now at DaMMAgeMMA.com. Tickets can also be purchased on the night of the event at the door. Fans who can’t make the show can catch the action on GoFightLive.tv. The card will be finalized in the next few days, so please keep an eye out for that.
