Dana White Shares His Thoughts on Georges St. Pierre on AXS TV's INSIDE MMA

Mar 04, 2015

(PRESS RELEASE) -- LOS ANGELES – UFC President Dana White joined AXS TV’s INSIDE MMA tonight for a one-on-one interview with correspondent Ron Kruck. During the interview, White shared his thoughts on former UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre as well as the future of the UFC women’s bantamweight division and Invicta FC featherweight fighter Cris “Cyborg” Justino.

White on St. Pierre:

“I haven’t really spoken to him. I’ve asked him if he wants to fight and things like that. This is one of those sports that… if a guy doesn’t want to fight, the last thing you want to do is pressure a guy to fight. Georges St. Pierre doesn’t want to fight. And if Georges St. Pierre wants to retire, I get it. He goes out on top, he’s made a lot of money and and he’s doing movies now. If he’s ready to retire, I’m never gonna be the guy to pressure him into coming back. You have to want to do this, and apparently Georges doesn’t.”

White on Justino:

“I’m actually gonna go watch her fight tonight and I don’t know, we’ll go from there.”
