(PRESS RELEASE) -- World Championship Fighting looks to end the 2008 season with a bang with their best fight card ever. Don't miss your chance to catch the best Mixed Martial Arts action in the North East. See Wilmington's own John Benoit (Pictures) as he tries to keep his undefeated streak alive in search of his seventh win against the up and coming Bill Jones (3-1) who has tasted defeat only once in his career. Methuen's own Calvin Kattar (Pictures) will be making his debut for World Championship Fighting against the hard hitting Bobby Dias who fought in one of the best fights ever in New England at WCF 1 last year. Also making his debut will be Greg Rebello who is one of the best light heavyweight prospects in the area. Rebello faces another top prospect in the area in Chris Canale who is a collegiate All-American wrestler looking to make his mark in MMA. In one of the nights featured match-ups UFC veteran Dan "The Upgrade" Lauzon faces Justin "Sledge" Hammerstrom. This is the last WCF event of 2008, so don't miss it!
World Championship Fighting will also be hosting a Toys For Tots toy drive at the event. The toy drive will take place on November 14th at the World Championship Fighting 5 event in Wilmington, MA in the Shriners Auditorium lobby. The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, non-violent, unwrapped, toys each year and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the Greater Boston community. New unwrapped toys can be donated on the night of fight in the lobby. Monetary donations will also be accepted in the form of check with checks payable to "Toys For Tots of MA."
