EFC AFRICA presents the ultimate and final fight night of the year

(PRESS RELEASE) -- With the no 1 ranked welterweight Adam “the
Prodigy” Speechly facing off against top Lebanese fighter Abdalla
Hamdan, EFC AFRICA 06 will also feature a host of top up-and-comers
and experienced veterans.
“This is arguably the best fight card that we have ever put together” says EFC AFRICA President Cairo Howarth. “We see the return of many crowd favourites, as well as welcome some brilliant new talent to the biggest stage in Africa.”
The highly anticipated headline fights see Adam Speechly vs.
Abdalla Hamdan (LEB), and Jacques Joubert vs. Wade Henderson. Then
Leo Gloss vs. Ian Swart, and Alex Cheboub vs. William Bentley are
the remaining main card bouts.
“I can’t wait to see these bouts. These are all great fighters and very evenly matched, so we are expecting a few epic clashes,” says Howarth.
Sean O’ Connel steps in for an unwell Manny da Silva to fight Ashley Calvert, which completes the exciting card for the final fight night of the year, featuring: Andrew van Zyl vs. Raymond Ahanah (NG), Lance Ceronio vs. Paul Kietzmann, Ashley Calvert vs. Sean O’ Connel, Janus De Lange vs. Paul Terblanche, Dallas Jakobi vs. Gina Ifuki, Riaan Lombard vs. Warren Du Toit, Remo Ralph vs. Steven Momah (NG), and Warren Allison vs. Juan Lubbe.
