Evolution Combat Sports Championship Announces Full Line-up for Friday Night Fights! 04.15.11

fast-rising New Mexico based mixed martial arts fight organization,
is geared up for another exciting night of fights! The “FRIDAY
NIGHT FIGHTS! 04.15.11” event features an all-female pro card
line-up with an amateur card stacked with top-level local mixed
martial arts talent. Evolution “FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS! 04.15.11”takes
place on Friday April 15, at the Clovis Civic Center in Clovis, New
Mexico.
According to Martin Singleterry, president of Evolution Combat Sports Championship, "Evolution is ready to deliver another impressive night of fights. We are especially excited about the all-female pro card. At Evolution, we strongly support women’s MMA and will continue to give female fighters the opportunity to showcase their skills. We currently have three well-matched pro fights lined up and hope to solidify a replacement bout for Wright vs. Cano. Wright recently withdrew due to an undisclosed injury.”
Singleterry went on to say, “We are equally excited about our
amateur card, as it is loaded from top to bottom with local fan
favorites and tough contenders out of Texas. New Mexico will be
well-represented, as the card features top-level amateur MMA
contenders from Clovis, Portales, and Hobbs. The fans will not be
disappointed!”
The Evolution Friday Night Fight! 04.15.11 all-female pro card line-up will showcase some of the best talent in women’s MMA. The main event features an electrifying 125lb bout between heavy handed knock out artist Heather “Hurricane” Clark of New Mexico, and MMA rising star Jennifer “Superstar” Scott out of Houston, Texas. Fans can expect non-stop MMA action when these two well-rounded fighters step into the Evolution cage. Both women are exceptionally skilled strikers with impressive boxing backgrounds.
Rounding out this impressive all-female pro card is New Mexico’s own Margarita Chavez and Cassie Rodish. Fans can expect sparks to fly on April 15 when these fierce female fighters collide in the cage. The co-main event promises to be just as exciting. The bout
features Evolution fan favorite Ya Ya Anzaldua from Amarillo,
Texas. Anzaldua, who goes by “Little Ya Ya” commands respect in the
cage and packs a punch that is anything but little. Known for her
aggressive fight style and feared guillotine choke, “Little Ya Ya”
is looking to clinch her third straight win on Friday night.
Standing in her way is fierce Bellator veteran Carla Esparza,
Anzaldua’s toughest opponent to date.
