Evolution Combat Sports Championship Presents an All-Female Pro Card

fast-rising New Mexico based mixed martial arts fight organization,
is geared up for another exciting night of fights! “FRIDAY NIGHT
FIGHTS! 04.15.11” features an all female pro card with top-level
mixed martial artists from New Mexico, Texas, and California. In
the main event Heather “Hurricane” Clark will face Jennifer
“Superstar” Scott. The Evolution “FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS! 04.15.2011”
event takes place on Friday April 15, at the Clovis Civic Center in
Clovis, New Mexico.
According to Martin Singleterry, president of Evolution Combat Sports Championship, "We are very excited about the upcoming Friday night fights event. The April Evolution FNF card is stacked with great match-ups! The all-female pro card line up features some of the best talent in women’s MMA. Fight fans will not want to miss this!”
The main event features an electrifying 125lb match-up between New
Mexico’s own Heather “Hurricane” Clark, and MMA rising star
Jennifer “Superstar” Scott out of Houston, Texas. Fans can expect
an explosive fight on April 15 when Clark and Scott face off in the
Evolution cage.
Evolution veteran Heather “Hurricane” Clark (2-1) is a heavy handed mixed martial arts fighter out of Greg Jackson’s camp in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Clark, who is coming off of an impressive 10 second KO victory over April Coutino, plans to hand Scott the first loss of her MMA career. Clark started mixed martial arts training at the age of 8 with her father, who is an honorary black belt in Ukidokan Karate and a brown belt in Shotokan. As a former Pro hockey player and amateur boxer, Clark is no stranger to fierce competition. She has emerged as a force to be reckoned with in the mixed martial arts arena.
The co-main event features a bout that is highly anticipated by New Mexico fight fans. Evolution fan favorite Ya Ya Anzaldua is set to face Bellator veteran Carla Esparza. Anzaldua will attempt to clinch her third straight win by defeating Esparza, perhaps her toughest opponent to date. Fans can expect sparks to fly when the two collide on April 15, as both women are known for their aggressive fighting style.

Clark’s opponent, Jennifer “Superstar” Scott, trains out of the 4oz
training center in Houston, Texas. Scott has three professional MMA
fights under her belt, with a record of 2-0 and one No Contest. The
former Hawaiian Tropics bikini model fared well in the boxing arena
and is now making waves in the sport of MMA. The competitive
“Superstar” competed at amateur boxing tournaments such as Ringside
and Golden Gloves prior to turning pro. She has since transitioned
into MMA, where her boxing prowess and additional training have
rendered her undefeated thus far. Scott plans to add another win to
her pristine record on April 15th.
