Exciting lineup set for Heat XC 6

(PRESS RELEASE) -- When victory and glory are at stake, to the winner goes Bragging Rights.

Heat XC, the most-exhilarating mixed martial arts organization in Canada, is set to stage Heat XC 6: Bragging Rights on Friday, October 15 live at the Mayfield Inn Trade & Conference Centre in Edmonton, Alberta. Fierce action will be on blazing display as these young guns look to impress what will be the sixth consecutive sold-out crowd for Heat XC, the top developmental system for the Maximum Fighting Championship.

Tickets for Heat XC 6: Bragging Rights are very nearly all sold. Remaining tickets are available by calling the MFC Ticket Hotline at (780) 504-2024.

The Heat XC 6 main event pits Jason “The Kansas City Bandit” High (10-3), who trains alongside MFC world lightweight champion Antonio McKee, against unbeaten Keto Allen (5-0), the most-impressive welterweight prospect in Canadian mixed martial arts. High has fought all over the world and holds career victories over notables Kevin Burns, Markhaile Wedderburn, Andre Galvao, and Jordan Mein. Meanwhile, Allen has been a wrecking machine against his opposition, winning three of his five fights inside the first round including a destruction of Jason Gorny at Heat XC 5 in only 1:16.

Also on the card and making their professional MMA debuts are two hot new prospects in Heat XC.

Nick Dragich, a former member of Canada’s national under-21 rugby team, will take on Will Krueger (1-0) of Leduc, Alberta, in heavyweight action. Dragich, an Edmonton, Alberta, product, is a physical specimen with incredible power and he will look to make a massive statement in his first fight.

Shane Campbell, who also fights out of Edmonton, Alberta, will bring his wealth of muay thai kickboxing talents to the mixed martial arts ring for the first time in meeting durable veteran Paapa Inkumsah (3-2) of Calgary, Alberta. Campbell has held two world titles in kickboxing so his striking ability should be very prevalent up against the well-rounded Inkumsah.

Many of Heat XC’s most-popular fighters are also on the card including lightweight Scott Payne, the protégé of MFC standout Ryan “The Real Deal” Ford, rugged welterweight Mike Froese, and fearsome heavyweight Ryan “The Vanilla Gorilla” Fortin.
