Fight Lab is also very excited to announce that it has secured its first show in Greensboro, NC on September 19, 2015 for Fight Lab 50. The event will be held at The Mirage and the setting will be an outdoor event. This fight card will include eight amateur and five professional bouts. “I’m really excited to be moving into the Greensboro territory. I’ve been wanting to do this for years, but it really was building up a loyal group of fighters from that area who are used to stepping up in the fashion we are used to here at Fight lab. We look to do two to three shows there next year while making the fall outdoor show at The Mirage an annual event” stated Allen.
Those amateur fighters scheduled to compete in Greensboro include hometown favorite Shelton Sales, (4-2 overall, 1-2 Fight Lab) who will battle Quintin Thomas (4-1 overall, 1-0 Fight Lab) for the vacant 145lb amateur title. Also on the card in the amateur division is 135lb Fight Lab Champion Tony Gravely (4-1 overall, 2-1 Fight Lab) who will be putting his title on the line and will be looking to avenge his only career loss to currently undefeated Da’Mon Blackshear (5-0 overall, 4-0 Fight Lab). Professional fighters scheduled to compete include former Fight Lab amateur flyweight champion Meshack Adams (1-0 professionally, 2-1 Fight Lab) and former Fight Lab amateur middleweight champion Jeremy Perdue (1-3 professionally, 2-0 Fight Lab).
