(PRESS RELEASE) -- Fight for Wrestling: A Professional Mixed
Martial Arts Event to Benefit Cal Poly Wrestling presents The
Official Weigh-In this Friday at 7pm at Mr. Ricks in Avila Beach,
CA. All fighters will be present for the weigh-in. MC Matt Gaines
will kick off the event at 7pm. Olympic Wrestling Gold Medalist and
in-ring interviewer, Jeff Blatnick, will stage the fighters.
Mr. Ricks shares a breathtaking atmosphere with Avila Beach and Avila’s weekly farmer’s market. This event is open to the media and the public. Fans will watch each fighter share a stage with their opponent in preparation for the Benefit Event this Saturday, May 22nd at Mott Gym, Cal Poly.
Fight for Wrestling is open to the public and all proceeds benefit Cal Poly Wrestling. Doors Open at 5:00pm and the event starts at 5:30pm.
