FightZone TV Celebrates 3000th Airing

(PRESS RELEASE) -- FightZone TV, one of the nation's largest Independent Distributors of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Programming, celebrates their 3000th Broadcast TV airing in May 2011.

In December 2006, FightZone TV aired their first MMA event in Tampa, FL on local cable to over 300,000 homes.

With the explosion of MMA and the thirst of its fans for more and more content, by the end of 2007, FZTV was airing multiple promoters’ events statewide in Florida on Fox Sports Net’s Sun Sports and nationally on DIRECTV and The Dish Network to over 9 million homes.

In 2008, the short lived International Fight League (IFL), which had a contract with various FSN networks, folded and FightZone TV stepped in to fill the MMA gap on Sport South adding 6 additional southern states (GA, TN, NC, SC, MS, AL). In addition all of these shows were also packaged into the FSN Sports package on the satellite networks bringing the total available homes to over 25 million.

With the growth of the satellite networks and the addition of AT&T U-verse, FightZone TV, in their sixth year of MMA related broadcasting, is now available to over 47 million homes, reaching over 42% of US homes with cable TV. All programming is also duplicated on separate SD and HD channels. And because of the satellite networks, FightZone TV can be seen in virtually every Sports Bar in the country that subscribes to the Fox Sports Net Package.

FightZone TV enjoys tremendous exposure being on the same tier as the Orlando Magic, Miami Heat, Tampa Bay Lightning, Florida Panthers, Rays, Braves, Hawks, Thrashers, Gators, Seminoles, ACC and SEC, often preceding or following these shows and playoff games.

FightZone TV distributes 3 Programs: One and a half hour fight events from a variety of locations and Promoter Partners; Jay Adams Brawl Call” - a 1/2 hr MMA show featuring interviews with fighter, celebrities, promoters at our various televised fight events and “MMA 30” w/ Host Dave Farra, a fast paced, on location, 1/2 hr. Las Vegas based MMA News, Reviews and MMA Lifestyle show featuring many of the biggest names in the sport.

This means FightZone TV, with over 115 hours of MMA Programming monthly, is now available somewhere in the US on almost a daily basis.

FightZone CEO and co-owner Al Martino says, “What started out with one event and one promoter (Real Fighting Championships (RFC), has seen FightZone TV partnering with over 30 promoters across the mainland US, Aruba, Hawaii, Canada and the UK.”

These have included: Action Fight League (AFL) FL; Art Of Fighting (AOF) FL, Asylum Fight League NJ; Battlefield League Canada; Blackeye Promotions NC; Cage Wars Championships (CWC) UK; Combat Fighting Championships (CFC) FL; Gladiator Challenge CA; Global Cage Fighting (GCF) FL; Mainstream IA; Pure Combat CA; Raging Wolf NY; Real Fighting Championships (RFC) FL; Reality Combat Championships (RCC) FL; Tuff N Nuff NV; Ultimate Warrior Championships (UWC) DC; Unconquered (UMA) FL; Vendetta, Aruba; W-1 Canada; World Extreme Fighting (WEF FL); World Fighting Championships (WFC) FL; X1 (Hawaii); Xtreme Fighting Association (XFA), NV
