FightZone TV Enters 6th Year of MMA Broadcasting

(PRESS RELEASE) -- In December 2006, FightZone TV aired its first MMA event in Tampa, FL on local cable to 300,000 homes.

With the explosion of MMA and the thirst of its fans for more and more content, by the end of 2007, FZTV was airing multiple promoter's events statewide in Florida on Fox Sports Net's Sun Sports and nationally on DIRECTV and The Dish Network.to over 9 million homes.

In 2008, the short lived International Fight League (IFL), which had a contract with various FSN networks, folded and FightZone TV stepped in to fill the MMA gap on Sport South in 6 additional southern states, bringing the total available homes to over 25 million.

With the growth of the satellite networks and the addition of AT&T U-verse, FightZone TV is now available to over 43 million homes with one of its 3 shows - FightZone Presents, Jay Adams Brawl Call and MMA 30 with host Dave Farra airing almost daily with over 112 hours of national MMA programming monthly.

What started out with one event and one promoter, now sees FightZone TV partnering with promoters across the mainland US, Aruba, Hawaii, Canada and the UK.

This December marks another first for FightZone TV as they debut five new fight events in one month.

Raging Wolf X Mayhem in the Mist "The Series"
Raging Wolf Productions is a Native owned company that produces and promotes the only Pro MMA events in New York State at the Seneca Niagra Falls Casino. RW X features an exciting title defense by Alexis Davis in a rematch with Tonya Evinger in the main event. Also on the pro card, former WEC'er John Franchi takes on Mat McCook.

Canada's W-1 "New Ground" was so jammed packed with fights it had to be split into two parts with Part 1 airing in December and Part 2 debuting in January.

It is headlined by a heavyweight bout that had the crowd on its feet. Brett "Grimm" Rogers and Ruben "Warpath" Villarreal put on quite a battle. MMA superstar, Murilo "Ninja" Rua faced off against Roy Boughton. Roger Hollett and Mychal Clark put on a powerful ground game demonstration. Sean Pierson faced Ricky Goodall, who was aiming for a UFC contract. Matt MacGrath and Ryan Machan put on fight of the night with several bone crushing slams.

MMA veteran Doug Evans went up against hometown hero Tristan Johnson. Another hometown fan favorite Jason MacKay faced Musa Tolliver.

Other bouts include: Nordine Taleb vs the much larger Chad Cox; Jeremy "The Hawk" Hamilton vs Chris "The Crippler" Johnson with strong Muay Thai in a fearless performance. Jeremiah Bernard vs Todd Henry. Pat Schilling and Tom Waters put on an exciting Featherweight bout. Mike Imperato had his first professional fight meeting Jeff Black.

Art Of Fighting (AOF) 8 "Fury"
Held recently at Germain Arena in Estero, FL, This action packed card showcased Crafton "The Blaze" Wallace vs Waachiim Spiritwolf looking to find his way into a title shot as the main event. The co-main event features two Florida fighters battling to maintain their undefeated records as Joe Robinson from Gracie Tampa faces 4 time AOF winner Raul Amaya from Champions MMA in Bradenton, FL.

Also on the card is the long awaited heavyweight match up of Dave Yost vs Mike Buchovich and Eric Reynolds takes on a durable Travis Cox.

Tuff N Uff presents "The future stars of MMA" from Las Vegas, NV. The nation's premier amateur fighters compete in the early days of their careers. This is the second event in the series which features Jesse Romero vs. Gerald Vecco, Henry Lee Lilly vs. Rick Borden, Tolin Garcia vs. Shane Franklin, Latasha Marzolla vs. Nikki Rae Lowe, Cody Decker vs. Matt Lagou, Ashley Weakley vs. TJ Cunanan, and Keith Tubin vs. Jason Riviera. MMA 30's Dave Farra calls the action with MMAjunkie.com lead staff reporter John Morgan providing color commentary.

Blackeye Promotions: Rise of the Champions
Fight Zone is pleased to welcome Black Eye Promotions to their MMA family. Blackeye Promotions and Bread and Butter Management recently held a very successful event called "Rise of the Champions" in Asheville, NC. Fight Zone TV was there to cover all the action and Jay Adams had the call with Michael Allen and former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion of the World "Suga" Rashad Evans.

With 2 titles on the line this is a great card to check out. Debuting in mid December and see Johnny "Buck Nasty" Buck, Matt "The Spiderman" Tran, Jacob "The Brick" Allman, Matt "The Silent Assassin" Covan, Michah Lial,
