Friant, CA: If their first mixed martial arts show is any indication, Roy Englebrecht Events and Table Mountain Casino have a winner on their hands. With still a week to go before the inaugural Melee On The Mountain MMA Show set for Tuesday, July 24th, all tickets have been sold in the 1,200 Events Center. And Fresno fans will be treated to not one, but two championship fights, as both five round Co - Main Events will be for Golden State Championship Belts.
The first Main Event will feature Parlier's 7-1 Billy "Bad Ass"Evangelista vs San Diego's 16-2 Ryan Bixler and the second co Main Event will feature Fresno star 1- 1 Michelle Maher vs 1-2 Elaina "Beef" Maxwell out of San Jose.
This is the first MMA venture for Table Mountain Casino, located in Friant, about 15 miles from Fresno, and is part of their four date Melee On The Mountain fight series with Roy Englebrecht Events. In 2007 Englebrecht and Table Mountain will promote two pro boxing shows and two pro mma shows.
Five undercard bouts will feature areas fighters including Visalia's Rocky Molina and Mike Martinez (Mike Martinez' class='LinkSilver'>Pictures), and pro debuter Luke Rockhold out of Santa Cruz.
