Global Fighting Championship 3 Set for Dubai

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Dubai, UAE - Global Fighting Championship 3 will
take place on May 29th in Dubai and feature world class K1
kickboxing action. The show will be presented by Golden Cage Events
and contain a four man heavyweight tournament with a winner’s purse
of 1 million UAE dirhams.
“GFC 3 is an attractive event with high level professionals from the global fight industry competing for top honors and a substantial purse in a beautiful setting,” said Golden Cage organizer “Prince Amir” Shafiy Pour. Among the athletes scheduled to appear are legendary Dutch fighter Peter Aerts, K1 sensation Badr Hari and hard hitting Australian Peter Graham.
Beyond the glory of the competition itself, expenses have not been spared in the area of event production. World famous ring announcer and pop culture icon Michael Buffer is also scheduled to work the event along with world class MMA ring announcer Mike Markham.
“The fact that Michael Buffer will be present certainly gives the event additional credibility. The exciting thing is that this event could stand on its own as a high level international affair against the glitzy backdrop of Dubai. I am honored to be working in the Emirates with Mr. Buffer on such a prestigious show,” said Markham.
The event is set for Za’abeel Hall at the Dubai World Trade Centre on May 29th.
