Global Proving Ground Signs Ring Announcer Mike Markham

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Los Angeles, California - November 5, 2012 -
World Class Ring Announcer Mike Markham has agreed to partner with
the new Global Proving Ground Worldwide Fight League.
Markham looks forward to the partnership. “I’m certainly excited about what lies ahead for a new league with a truly unique structure,” Markham said.
The first Global Proving Ground event will be held on November 17th
in Branson, Missouri in association with Midwest Ultimate Cage
Fighting.
Global Proving Ground bouts will be placed on the cards of existing events in various locations around the world as the organization seeks to work with existing MMA promotions rather than against them.
Markham has worked events ranging from the World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Abu Dhabi to the legendary Fedor Emelianenko’s June 21st defeat of Pedro Rizzo in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Markham has worked as a live announcer for over 40 entities, including 22 fight promoters, at engagements around the world.
