Ernie Reyes Jr. stated, “I’ve had the privilege of working with many amazing producers and actors throughout my career and was blessed to land my first leading role in a hit TV series (Sidekicks) before the age of ten. I’ve starred in hit movies and have even done stunt work for blockbusters such as Alice and Wonderland and Avatar. I credit ALL of these accomplishments to the fundamentals that I learned through martial arts. My role as VP and spokesperson for Dignity Kids Inc. enables me to introduce these fundamentals to thousands of young adults.”

Reyes Jr. went on to say, “This is without a doubt my most important role to date. Words cannot express how excited I am to be involved with an organization that uses martial arts to bring about positive change. At Dignity Kids Inc. we are dedicated to empowering families through the spirit of martial arts.”

Through classroom presentations, school assemblies and martial arts values Dignity volunteers promote the importance of health and fitness and educate children on bully prevention. The Dignity Kids “Heroes in Action” anti-bully assemblies are supported by costumed mascots such as Kung Fu Panda, Power Rangers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Dignity mascots capture the attention of school-aged children while volunteer educators deliver a powerful message. During these interactive ‘hands on’ assemblies students learn how to defend themselves against physical bullying and how to be a ‘Hero in Action’ if they see that someone is being bullied. Students also learn effective psychological self-defense techniques to deter teasing, harassment and cyber bullying.

Dignity Kids Inc. currently has over 70 volunteer educators. Last year Dignity volunteers collectively taught more than 30,000 children in 18 school districts and awarded over $60,000 in scholarship money to deserving students. A strong supporter in youth development through martial arts, Dignity Kids Inc., has distributed over 1,200 martial arts uniforms and 13,000 martial arts lessons to date (all donated by Dignity Kids affiliates).

Additionally, Dignity Kids hosts family friendly fundraising events throughout the year, including a "Board-Break-A-Thon”, a “Kids Ninja Mud Run”.
