International Cage Fighting Alliance presents: Last Man Standing

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The ICFA will feature the best amateur athletes looking to become professional fighters. ICFA and Guard Fight Gear present "Last Man Standing" tournament series were amateur fighters of a specific weight class will battle each other in a tournament elimination form where the final fight with the last two fighters will be their debut professional fight. The tournament will be over a period of 5 months. The winner of the final bout will earn a $20,000 contract with the ICFA. The tournament will consist of 32 fighters of the same weight class competing against each other. When a fighter wins their fight they will move on to the next round competing against a fighter that falls in to their bracket. If for some reason the fighter is not able to continue at the point of the following match, they will be replaced. The next Last Man Standing tournament will be for the 145LB weight class. Interested fighters will register online, applicants will be chosen by a combination of fan votes and tournament panel. Registration begins 5-18-09 and will end 7-4-09.
