International Sensation Galesic returns to the UK at OMMAC 9
Feb 17, 2011
(PRESS RELEASE) -- OMMAC is proud to announce their strongest card
to date as they deliver an action packed night of mixed martial
arts to the Liverpool Olympia on Saturday March 5th.
OMMAC 9: Enemies, marks the promotion’s explosive return to the domestic scene in 2011 and is already being pencilled as a card of the year contender. The highly anticipated event marks the return of one of the most feared and well respected middleweight fighters in the world.
Zelg Galesic has fought in all four corners of the globe and he
makes his return to the UK for the first time in nearly five years
to fight at OMMAC, after taking on the Gracie hunter, Kazushi
Sakuraba last time out.
Lee Chadwick, however, plans to give the Croatian wonderkid a hostile reception.
Galesic vs. Chadwick will be the most exciting middleweight war of the year and the centrepiece of a phenomenal night of fights.
Also on the card are two of the most highly touted lightweights on the European scene at present, as the dominant Rob Sinclair takes on wrecking machine Francis Heagney.
Both of these fighters represent the upper echelons of lightweight mma and, on March 5th, they’ll come to the Olympia to wage war.
OMMAC 9 also sees the welcome return of international breakout star Aaron Wilkinson.
The hard punching Brit has gained an overseas following after his time on The Ultimate Fighter but, in Richard Griffin, he’ll be facing a hard nosed opponent who always comes to leave it all on the line.
OMMAC has established a reputation for delivering fast paced, adrenaline fuelled fight cards and, on March 5th, they’ll raise the bar even higher.

The hometown hero comes into this bout on the back of a thirty
second demolition of dangerous Cathal Pendred and will be looking
to raise the roof at the Olympia.
