KING INK & STARLIGHT TATTOOS SIGN SPONSORSHIP DEAL WITH LION FIGHT

(PRESS RELEASE) – Lion Fight Promotions is very excited to announce a sponsorship agreement with King Ink and Starlight Tattoos, studios owned and operated world-renowned artist Mario Barth.

King Ink is located in Foxwoods Resort Casino, the host venue for Lion Fight 28 which takes place this Friday, February 26th, with a pair of title fights headlining the card. Mario Barth has other prominent locations such as Starlight Tattoo at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, and King Ink at The Mirage Hotel and Casino, both on the world-famous Las Vegas Strip.

Mario’s list of celebrity clientele runs the gamut of movie and music stars including Sylvester Stallone, Lenny Kravitz, Tommy Lee, and Usher. His “Biggest Tattoo Show on Earth” venture in 2009 set the Guinness Book of World Records mark for largest tattoo convention with over 43,000 attendees and more than 1,000 tattoo artists.

“To bring in a sponsor like Mario Barth’s King Ink is perfect for our demographic – fans that love action-packed fights and appreciate the very best when it comes to body art, unique fashions, and jewelry,” said Scott Kent, President & CEO of Lion Fight.

“Mario is a legend in the industry and we are excited about all of the creative marketing opportunities we will be able to create together.”

Mario is well-known for his philanthropic work especially the “Starting Over” program which allows reformed convicts to earn credits through public park maintenance and school program and then in turn have their gang-related and racially insensitive tattoos removed. Also, Mario works with breast cancer survivors doing reconstructive tattoos at the Hackensack Medical Center on the East Coast and in his native Austria.

“I’m excited to partner with Lion Fight, a leader in Muay Thai and combat sports,” said Barth. “We are thrilled to announce that we will be the exclusive tattoo sponsor for Lion Fight and its fighters. To celebrate, we are offering a 20% discount on tattoo services at our Foxwoods location to patrons with a Lion Fight ticket.”

Lion Fight 28 airs live on AXS TV Fights with a special start time of 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.
