King of the Cage Announces Additional Fighters for Upcoming World Amateur Championships in Las Vegas

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Rancho Cucamonga, CA (September 26, 2013) KOTC
has announced the signing of additional fifteen (15) fighters
selected to compete in Las Vegas at The Palms Casino Resort on
Saturday, October 19th for $250,000 in professional fighting
contracts. The World Amateur Championships is a first of its kind
event with fighters from all over the world competing for their
chance to become a professional MMA fighter for King of the Cage.
The event is sponsored by Lucas Oil and will be broadcast live on
MavTV.
“Tickets are going fast for this event and we are expecting a sell-out crowd, according to Terry Trebilcock, Founder and CEO of King of the Cage. This event promises to be one of the most exciting shows you will ever watch with 40 of the most talented amateur fighters battling for 5 professional contracts. Also, for the first time ever, both the Television and Live audience will be able to vote online for to help determine the winners.”
The remaining fighters will be announced shortly to complete the card.
The LIVE broadcast will begin @ 6pm PST and the online voting for the champions will go on throughout the night, finishing up with the winners announced immediately after the last fight.
The event will be Broadcast Live on MavTV Channel 214 on DirecTV and 248 on Dish Network. Check with your local provider for the cable channel in your area.
