Saturday, July, 23rd, at, Gold Country Casino, in Oroville, California.The card features four main events starting with, Carter “Triple Threat” Williams, formerly known as “The Beast” and comes with a lot of experience as he is a, K-1, veteran holding a record of, 39-12, in Kickboxing and was the, 2003, winner of the K-1 Grand Prix Championship in Japan, with a second round knockout over, Bjorn Bregy. Carter, has notable K-1 wins against, Charlid “Die Faust, Nobu Hayashi, Big Daddy Gary Goodrich, Dewey Cooper, Michael McDonald, and, Rick Rofous.
Carter, is a bully, constantly pushing forward to punish his opponents with kicks and punches never letting his opponent feel confident; so who better to pit against a bully than a, Monterrey County Sheriff. Ben Davis, also has a strong Kick Boxing background and has trained in that style most of his life. With this “Triple Threat” breathing down his neck he’ll really have to let it all go and we look forward to watching this Sheriff, bring law and order to the “bad boy.”
Northern California residents, will be able to see MMA’s original bad boy, Charles “Krazy Horse” Bennett. Charles has been featured frequently on Pay-per-view and SHOWTIME and has become increasingly popular for his knockout punches and powerful body slams. Coming in with, 2, World Championship Belts. Is another striker, of great fortitude, Jerimiah Metcalf; his ground defense and wrestling has won him a majority of his wins, he also possesses very accurate and heavy hands. His opponent is a fierce competitor that usually fights at, 185lbs, so with, Marcus Gaines, staring him down he had best be prepared for an intense bout. Marcus, recently met ,Jason “The Live Wire” Von Flue, in the cage and crushed his Orbital taking, the long time vetran, out of the game for quite awhile. Marcus, is a proficient and dangerous wrestler as well. Making this a very competitive match up.
Rick “The Holy Terror” Reeves who is fighting for souls through the week and on Sunday’s is a genuine warrior. This Preacher from, Reno, Nevada, is a very tough striker. The Preacher, will face, Zac Bucia. Zac, is also very tough with striking, kicks and has an impressive ground defense, so this preacher will have to pull out everything from his bag of tricks to break the soul of his opponent. A special treat for everyone is a female fight; Elaina Maxwell who just won the World Gi Brazillian Ju Jitsu, Championships, held in Southern California, has been in the cage with, Gina Carano, Meisha Tate, and to her credit, Michelle Maher. She’s also a 3X, World San Shou Champion; she is the, 1st, American, competitor (male or female) at the World Wushu Games, to bring home a gold medal. With that said we know she is tough as nails but she also holds a degree in business and is an, MMA, commentator and combative instructor for the, US military. Her opponent best be on her best game ever because, Elaina, will not let her forget this night. Win or lose, Nicole Johnson, will add a credit to her record just by entering the cage with Elaina.
