Knockout Mayhem at EFC AFRICA 06

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The MMA year finishes with explosive fights at EFC AFRICA 06. All the fighters came out strong, with many knockouts and technical submissions.

The fight of the night went to the lightweight battle between William Bentley and Alex Cheboub. Cheboub took the win late into the first round by submission via omoplata, also winning him submission of the night.

Paul Terblanche made an impressive return to the EFC AFRICA hexagon when he defeated Janus De Lange with a massive knockout, just eight seconds into the first round. De Lange was out cold after catching a huge overhand right on the chin.

Lebanese star Abdallah Hamdan defeats Adam Speechly in a gripping matchup. Hamdan showed off his exceptional striking, knocking out Speechly with a quick right cross.

EFC AFRICA returns to the Coca-Cola Dome on 3 February 2011, featuring the headline bout between heavyweights Rico Hattingh and Calven Robinson.
