Hong Kong January 10, 2012 (Tuesday) — Legend Fighting Championship (Legend) welterweight titleholder Bae “Wolverine” Myung Ho of South Korea will look to defend his belt and undefeated Legend record when he takes on China‟s top contender Li “The Leech” Jingliang in the main event at Legend 7 at City of Dreams, Cotai, Macau on Saturday February 11, 2012.

Bae (4-0 Legend, 12-5 overall) trains with top-ranked Korean Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) team, the Busan-based Team M.A.D., and won the Legend welterweight title when he defeated veteran Rod MacSwain by a unanimous decision at Legend 5 in Macau in July 2011. In his first appearance in the ring since then, Bae will face-off with Li (3-1 Legend, 12-2 overall), China‟s top-rated fighter at 77kg and winner of three straight Legend bouts. A member of Beijing‟s China Top Team, Li is a native of western China‟s Xinjiang province. The main event will feature another title defence, with Legend bantamweight champion Yao Honggang of China (2-0 Legend, 6-2 overall) renewing his rivalry with Jumabieke Tuerxun, also of China. Yao, widely considered the top MMA fighter in China at 61kg, lost by technical knockout in his MMA debut against Jumabieke in 2009 and will be seeking to avenge the loss. Jumabieke, from Xian Physical Education University, China, boasts a 10-0 professional MMA record and will be vying for the belt in his inaugural Legend fight. “Legend 7 marks the first time in history three Chinese fighters will be competing for titles in an international MMA event,” said Mr. Michael Haskamp, Legend co-founder and managing director. “It will be our biggest show to date, and the card features some of the most talented fighters in China and Asia-Pacific. This event is a great way for sports fans to begin the Year of the Dragon.”

Legend 7 will include five undercard fights and five main card fights. Doors open at 4pm and the first undercard fight will begin at 4:30pm. The main card will begin at 7pm.
