Las Vegas Combat Championships
Las Vegas, Nv- On June 14th local professional MMA action will
explode onto the Vegas scene with a show that Las Vegas can truly
call their own!
Las Vegas Combat Championships will put on their inaugural event at the Alexis Park Resort which is located on 375 E. Harmon directly across the street from the Hard Rock Casino.
Former heavyweight champion Frank Mir (Pictures) will be on board signing autographs and taking pictures with fans! The card is packed with local fighters from the top schools in all of the country.
Xtreme Couture, Fight Club Las Vegas, Warriors Training Center, Cobra Kai, One Kicks Gym and many others will be represented that evening against other top up and coming fighters from Southern California, Arizona and Utah.
Las Vegas Combat Championships President Chris Sarkissian says, " The goal of Las Vegas Combat Championships is to provide a consistent avenue for the up and coming fighters here in Las Vegas to showcase their skills and have the opportunity to fight without having to leave their home towns. Many fighters move here to train in the best gyms...however when they are ready to make a pro debut or just looking to gain some professional experience, they have to go out of town to fight. Being that Las Vegas is the fight capital of the world and fighters have to go elsewhere to find a fight is a shame."
Las Vegas Combat Championships is promising an evening of explosive fighting action and great entertainment. The entertainment will be provided by DJ Success...a very popular DJ from Long Island, New York is being flown in to blow the roof off of this place.
"We are going to have enough power in the room to make it sound like Madison Square Garden," says Chris Sarkissian. LVCC is planning on doing 3 shows in 2008, and 6-7 shows in 2009! Chris believes that keeping the event small and consistent will be the keys to success for this local organization. So if your in the Las Vegas area, don't miss this night of explosive MMA action featuring the future in the world of mixed martial arts!
