"We are really excited to be working with J.C. This kid has unbelievable potential in the world of MMA. He is an outstanding pure athlete, has a great wrestling background and has the work ethic and dedication to be one of the best 155 pounders in the country! What impresses me most about J.C. isn't his fighting potential but the kind of person he is, and his upstanding character. He has overcome a lot of adversity in his life and after spending time with him you realize that he has developed into a great young man. He has the whole package."- LionHeart Owner, Chad Dubin
J.C. Cuffee was also awarded the 1st LionHeart Training Scholarship on June 15th, 2009. As a recipient of this scholarship, J.C. will now be able to leave his current job as a behavioral counselor, and focus all of his energies into becoming a great fighter.
