(PRESS RELEASE) -- A welterweight showdown between UFC veteran Rory Markham and Strikeforce and Bellator Fighting Championships veteran Rudy Bears has been added to Titan Fighting Championship 18 ( on Friday, May 27 at the historic Memorial Hall in Kansas City, KS.

The event, which will also feature former UFC lightweight champion Jens Pulver as well as a hard-hitting middleweight bout between UFC veteran Drew McFedries and undefeated Strikeforce veteran Darryl Cobb, will be televised live on HDNet ( starting at 10 p.m. ET.

Tickets for the event are currently on-sale at, all local Ticketmaster outlets, and the Memorial Hall box office.

“Rory vs. Rudy has the chance to be a tremendous standup battle between two fighters who don’t know how to have a boring fight,” said Titan Fighting CEO Joe Kelly. “Combined those two with the presence of Jens, Drew, and Darryl and have a pretty impressive collection of strikers that will be represented at Titan Fighting 18 on May 27.”
