(PRESS RELEASE) -- Growing up, Matt Ward was always a shy and quiet kid, yet competitive and athletic. So after high school, he wanted to try something new and decided to give mixed martial arts a try. He found Triad Martial Arts and has been there for eight years. He has been quite successful so far and was undefeated as an amateur and is 1-1 as a professional fighter.
“My opponent seems very explosive and fearless. He’s not afraid to get in your face and go for the win. I feel like I’m the more technical fighter, but he has fight experience on me. I’d like to win this fight however I can whether it be submission, knockout, or TKO, it doesn’t matter, but I would like the finish. I don’t trust judges. My strength as a fighter is my ground game, but I’m feeling comfortable on my feet these days. I’m extremely excited to have this opportunity. I’ve been trying to get on V3 for a year now. I have no ill will towards my opponent, he’s a competitor as am I. After the fight I will shake his hand and thank him for the opportunity. As far as my prediction on the fight, I’ll just say second round TKO.”
This fight is an early candidate for “Fight of the Night.” Fight fans, you definitely do not want to miss this one!
