MMA Big Show: HEAVY HITTERS - April 11th at Belterra Casino Resort & Spa

(PRESS RELEASE) -- On Saturday, April 11th, MMA Big Show presents “Heavy Hitters” at the Belterra Casino Resort & Spa. Headlining the event will be heavyweight Josh “Heavy” Hendricks, who will be facing MMA Big Show Heavyweight Champion Brian Heden for the belt.

Prior to his loss to Gabriel Gonzaga at UFC 91, Hendricks was unbeaten in his last 10 fights. A submission specialist, 14 of his 15 wins have come by way of submission or KO/TKO. The 32-year-old Ohio native stands 6'2" and weighs 246 pounds, and lists wrestling and jiu-jitsu as his strengths, having earned All-American honors twice as a wrestler at Ashland (OH) University.

Brian Heden carries a lot of experience for a fighter only 23 years of age, currently holding a 13-6 record as a professional fighter. Having went the distance with UFC Legend Dan "The Beast" Severn, Heden has big things in his future. Those “big things” includes Josh Hendricks gunning for his belt at “Heavy Hitters.” Heden’s last fight for the Big Show ended with a devastating KO of Team Vision Owner Rod Housely, garnering him the heavyweight strap. Brian Heden is a serious heavyweight force with heavy hands.

These two fighters will make up the Main Event of MMA Big Show: Heavy Hitters on April 11th at the Belterra Casino Resort & Spa in Indiana. Tickets are now on sale and are $35 General, $45 Balcony and $55 VIP Floor. Ages 21+ welcome.

Also on the card will be Joe “The Hammer” Ammerman out of Team Vision, who will be taking on Danny Woodruff out of Team Tarhe. This will be Ammerman's first fight back in the Big Show cage following a controversial loss back in November of 2008.

There will be 12 MMA fights taking place at “Heavy Hitters.”

*Fight card subject to change*

Opening the event at 6:45pm will be rock band Lorenzo. Lorenzo's songs are also used as the title songs of the MMA Big Show TV show set to debut on April 4th at 8pm on the CW in Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton, Louisville, Lexington and Indianapolis as a teaser for what is to come nationally in the 2nd quarter.

Doors will open at 6:00pm, Lorenzo will perform at 6:45 and the first fight will begin at 7:00pm sharp.

Tickets are: General Seat $35, 2nd Floor Balcony $45 and VIP Floor $55.

Ages 21+ only, please.
