MMA Community Joins forces with Ernie Ball Music to help Deaf Child

A special night for Estafany Shaw

The Ernie Ball Company, a major supplier in the guitar and guitar strings industry joined forces with hometown hero and UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Chuck Liddell (Pictures) and World Extreme Cagefighting’s President Scott Adams and Vice President Reed Harris at Balloween, “A Special Night for Estafany Shaw,” at the Mission Plaza in downtown SLO last Saturday. All proceeds from the concert festival and WEC sponsored giveaway’s are being donated to local infant Estafany Shaw, who was born deaf. The charity raised money for a Cochlear Implant surgery for the infant. The Iceman, dressed of all things as a priest, signed autographs and took pictures with fans in an effort to help the infant.

WEC’s Harris commented that Chuck wearing a priest outfit was pretty far fetched, but the work he was doing that night to help this child was really pretty inspiring and kind. The event attracted over 1500 attendees and was considered a huge success.
