(PRESS RELEASE) -- Friday, November 11, 2011 8:00pm ET featuring Spartan Fighting Championship Annihilation form the National Guard Armory, Ashland, Kentucky. In the main event, undefeated Josh "Pitbull" Blanchard (3-0) fights Strikeforce veteran Dom "Non-Stop Action Packed" Steele (4-1). Don't blink as this has the makings of an exciting and potentially quick fight. All 3 of Blanchard's victories have come in the first round with by KO or submission. Look for Blanchard to go straight for the jugular in this bout as well. A compact fighter, Blanchard is a quick starter and an even faster finisher. For Steele, he is riding a 4-fight win streak with his most recent when in Strikeforce. He is also a fast finisher as 3 out of his 4 victories have come in the first. Steele will have the size advantage so look for him to use it to his advantage and try to wear out Blanchard and get him into the later rounds and try for a submission to end the fight. In the co-main event, John "JP" Felty (1-2) from Kentucky battles Vic Simms (1-0) from Ohio. Both gladiators are just starting out their MMA careers so this bout could be wild in spots. Both Felty and Simms are known for their great cardio so expect fireworks from these two for three straight rounds or until somebody succumbs to a big bomb or gets caught in submission. SFC provides a great proving ground for the area's top prospects and this bout has fight of the night written all over it.

- Saturday, November 12, 2011 7:00pm ET featuring Victory Promotions - Clementi vs. Rogers from the Tsongas Center, Lowell, Massachusetts. The main event at VFN features Rich "No Love" Clementi and Ronnie "Bam Bam" Rogers. A contestant on 'The Ultimate Fighter 4' reality show and longtime UFC veteran, Clementi has notable wins over Melvin Guillard and Sam Stout, and is coming off of a May loss at Dream in Japan to Shinya Aoki, currently ranked 4th in the world. With over 60 professional fights on his resume more than half of his wins have come by way of submission. Ronnie Rogers enters with a record of 9-5 (5-1 in his last 6) with his last two wins coming over UFC vet Diego Saraiva and Bellator vet Bryan Goldsby. Half of Rogers' victories have also come via submission, setting this bout up for a ground war. Also on the card is the tough veteran journeyman clash between Matt Sung Lee and Tiawan Howard. Howard is coming off a split-decision win over UFC/TUF veteran Alex Karalexis in June, while Lee lost a rough battle in his last fight to UFC vet and now Bellator tournament finalist Ben "Killa B" Saunders. Lee has a notable war on his resume in a Bodog title fight with (now) Bellator champion Eddie Alverez that went the distance. The local featured fight is the professional debuts of Carlos Neto and Ricardo Georges. Georges, at just 20 years old, is considered one of the hottest 170'ers in New England with a 7-1 amateur record that includes a title win. Neto is making his first appearance in the ring but is a longtime veteran trainer of a Who's Who list of top-level pro's fighting within the UFC, Strikeforce and Bellator. A BJJ black belt, Neto is a former member of famed Brazilian Top Team in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil and a winner of countless grappling/BJJ tournaments. He is currently one of the head trainers at Wai Kru in Boston.

- Saturday, November 12, 2011 3:00pm ET a free viewing of Evolution Fighting Championship 8 from Rahway Rec Center in New Jersey. This is a common lament among local MMA promotions. What separates the men from the boys in this business, however, is how promoters deal with these kinds of issues. And Steven Katz has everything under control. Despite the last minute difficulties, Katz has managed to build what could very well be his best card yet. "I was up until three in the morning getting that stuff done, " he explained. And he did get it done. Confirmed is a title fight for the vacant 175 pound crown, which will be contested by Al Alo vs. Ryan Vernay. "Al Alo, if you look at his record it says that he's 2-2," Katz explained. "But the losses he's got came against one Bellator guy and one Strikeforce guy. So he's legit and he can bring it. Ryan Vernay, at 4-4, also has some notable names on his record. He's more than ready for this opportunity. This is going to be a great fight." Also on the card is a newcomer who is already raising eyebrows. His name is Roberto Munoz, and in his debut fight, he had a stunning first round knockout over his opponent. "Roberto "The Formula" Munoz, I see him at the gym on a regular basis," Katz said. "I know he can execute. If he executes his game plan, it's going to be a rough night for anybody in there with him. Very athletic kid, very hungry, trains hard, great condition. He's fighting Alberto Medino from Mike Codella's well known camp. He's got some great guys. That should be a good fight, but I'm expecting Munoz to do a lot of things in the near future. He's not going to overlook Alberto or anyone else, but this kid is living the dream. This is what he wants to do, he doesn't do want to do anything else." Ariel Solano, the Evolution 126 pound champ is also looking to fight on this card, and after his opponent dropped out, Steve Katz is looking for a replacement. Still, as it stands right now, the card is very stacked, and fans will definitely be getting their money's worth--as always.

- Saturday, November 12, 2011 8:00pm ET a free viewing of The Battle of Rome in Fresno, California. In the main event, Galen Williams (1-0) fights Brian Lee (0-0). Williams is coming off of a decision victory less than two weeks ago so he is a very durable fighter. But with fighting back to back so soon one has to wonder about Williams game plan. Will he look to finish the fight early or does he have enough in the tank to take this fight to the distance again. Lee is associated with Gracie Fighter so he no doubt will have a good ground game and look to take the fight to the mat and apply a fight-ending submission. It should be a barnburner as they two fireplugs go at it. In the co-main event, Jarrell Gilmore (0-0) battles Josh Johnson (1-2). Gilmore hails from Stockton, CA, home to the famous Diaz brothers and will look to put on a show like his fellow 209ers. Johnson has an advantage in the experience department and is coming off of a record of 1-1 for 2011. His win came via first round TKO and so did his loss so expect the unexpected because Johnson's fights a high risk/high reward fighting style. This bout could come down to whoever lands the first punch. A total of13 fights.
