Manhattan Fitness Legend Introduces MMA to the Upper East Side

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Michael Margulies has been making Upper East Side (UES) residents sweat for more than a decade. In 1996, he opened Core Fitness, a no-attitude private training facility on East 86th Street.

It was at Core that Margulies then introduced the Power Plate training trend that had the UES movers and shakers doing some real moving and shaking.

Now, in his boldest move ever, the muscular fitness legend is about to bring the hottest form of exercise to the hottest neighborhood in Manhattan.

East Side MMA will open on First Avenue and 85th Street in early 2010: a 5000 square foot facility, featuring a boxing ring, mixed martial arts (MMA) cage, strength training equipment, and much more.

A daily slate of classes will include Boot Camp, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, and Spinning. No uniform, no giâ?¦just hardcore training with the best, most experienced instructors on the planet.

SPECIAL PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN, TOO.

No more time wasted traveling downtown to find a small, crowded, and poorly equipped gym. Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is the future of fitness and the future will soon be found on Manhattan's Upper East Sideâ?"thanks to Michael Margulies and East Side MMA.
