Michelle Waterson Returns To Face Diana Rael At Jackson’s MMA Series VII

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Jackson’s MMA Series returns January 21st, 2012! The Jackson’s MMA Series has become the premiere MMA fight promotion in the Southwest and has launched multiple fighters to the next level. Jackson’s MMA Series Veterans include TUF 14 Featherweight Champion Diego Brandao and TUF 14 Veteran Johnny Bedford. In addition, multiple series fighters have been signed to Strikeforce including Julie Kedzie, Isaac Valle-Flagg, Lionel Lanham, Willie Parks and Sarah D'Alelio.

Jackson’s MMA Series VII will be held on January 21st, 2012, 7:00 MST at the spectacular Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Albuquerque in New Mexico. The Main Event marks the return of Fight Girls and MTV’s Bully Beat Down Star Michelle “The Karate Hottie” Waterson! Waterson (8-3) is a well rounded fighter who is comfortable both standing up and on the ground and fights for Team Jackson/Winkeljohn.. “The Karate Hottie” is one MMA’s most recognized female fighters today.

Waterson is set to take on Diana Rael (3-1) fighting for Serial Boxe Fight Team out of Advantage Martial Arts in Colorado. This 105 pound match up is guaranteed to be explosive! Rael took out local fan favorite Angelica Chavez with a convincing victory recently and Rael is looking to use her advanced striking and solid ground game to add another New Mexican fighter to her win column!

The Co-Main event feature Albuquerque’s and Jackson’s own Henry Martinez (6-1) taking on Serial Boxe Ali Hanjani (3-1) fighting out of Colorado in a 155 pound Lightweight contest.

Martinez is an accomplished collegiate level wrestler and powerful striker. Hanjani has demonstrated already in his pro fights the ability to fight at high technical level and will present a formidable challenge to Martinez!

Also on the pro card in 155 pound fight representing Team Jackson will be Travis Marx (18-3) taking on The Lab’s and Arizona native Yaotzin Mesa (18-6). In addition, World Ranked Professional Boxer Jodie Esquibel (1-0) is matched up with Darla Harris (1-0) fighting out of Colorado in 105 pound contest. Rounding out the Pro Card will be Team Jackson fighter Adam Gonzales making his Pro Debut in a 170 fight against Team Wildman fighter Armando Montoya fighting out of Colorado. The amateur card will feature six additional fights. Jackson’s MMA Series VII promises to be an exciting night of MMA Action!
