Most Well Known Fight Series Moves Into New England

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Since 1997 the Friday Night Fights Series has been the premier fight series in the biggest city in the world. On February 25th, Friday Night Fights takes its first step into New England with a full card featuring Mixed Martial Arts in Burlington, Vermont.

Whether or not you’re a fight fan the Friday Night Fights NYC Series has been known throughout NYC as the event to be at. And on Friday February 25th, the party moves up north!

“We’ve done well down here in New York and we’re really excited to bring our show on the road to Vermont” said Friday Night Fights President Justin Blair. “The people of New York can be pretty fickle so we’ve built up a good following by making sure that our events stay true to our commitment to quality - in our matchmaking, safety procedures and ensuring that anyone that buys a ticket to a Friday Night Fights event gets their money’s worth!” Blair continued.

What makes this expansion even more exciting is that this will be the Friday Night Fights’ first MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) card. Unlike most states, MMA is illegal in New York State so the FNF has produced primarily Muay Thai Kick Boxing in New York. This will be the first Friday Night Fights to take place in a cage!

Local support has already been strong with Rail City Gym leading the charge of local fighter and gym support! One local fighter in particular, Noah Weisman is happy to be involved with the new venture “I was honored when Blair and Scott contacted me asking for our support” said Weisman “I did a little homework and I’m confident that these guys will provide a upgrade to the local fight scene” he continued.
