NAAFS Night of Champions Schedule of Events

(PRESS RELEASE) -- With NAAFS Night of Champions 2011 just around the corner, things are heating up in Canton as one of the year's biggest MMA cards is less than nine days out. There NAAFS currently has fourteen (14) bouts scheduled for this epic fight card including seven (7) total championship fights. The main event will feature NAAFS 125lbs World Champion Aisling Daly, who makes the trip from Dublin, Ireland, to defend her world title against undefeated Kelly Warren of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

In addition, Canton's own Nick Duell takes on Strike Force veteran Dominique Steele, while Cleveland's Jessica Eye battles Jennifer Scott. Plus former NAAFS HW champion and UFC veteran Josh Hendricks returns to the Canton Civic Center when he collides with hard hitting Bellator vet, William Penn.

The world class competition won't be the only entertainment for fans in attendance on Thanksgiving eve. Popular recording artist GMone will perform live at intermission. Plus UFC star Stipe Miocic and Bellator star Brian "The Predator" Rogers will take photos and sign autographs for fans in attendance.

The NAAFS also wants to extend an open invitation to fans who wish to attend the professional fighter weigh-ins which will be held next Tuesday (11/22) at 6PM inside the O.E.C. Club (Old Eagles Club) of Canton. This weigh-in will be open to the public and all media. The O.E.C. club is located at 104 6th ST SE ? Canton, OH 44702.

Below is a schedule of event for next week's NAAFS Night of Champions event at the Canton Memorial Civic Center.

Tuesday 11/22/11

5:30 PM: Doors Open for Professional Weigh-Ins at OEC Club in downtown Canton (open to public and media)

6 PM: Pro fighter weigh-ins begin

Wednesday 11/23/11

11:30 AM: Amateur Weigh-ins at Civic Center (closed to public and media)

5 PM: Doors and Box Office open for Night of Champions

6 PM: First Preliminary Bout begins

8:30 PM (approximate): Intermission

- Gmone performs live

- Stipe Miocic and Brian Rogers free meet and great for fans at Merchandise area

9 PM (approximate): First Professional bout begins

11 PM (approximate): Post Fight Party begins at Diamond Royale in Canton

NAAFS Night of Champions 2011 will take place on Wednesday November 23rd at the Canton memorial Civic Center. Tickets for this spectacular MMA event start at just $17 and are on sale now at the Canton Civic Center Box office, Ticketmaster.com and participating Discount Drug Mart locations.
