ONLY 1 WEEK away is the Champions For Children Pro MMA Event

(PRESS RELEASE) -- On September 24th from 5-7pm; the PureCombat weigh ins will be hosted by the Manchester Center located on Shields and Blackstone in Fresno. Bring the whole family to the Carousel at the south end of the mall for some fun, shopping and mingling with stars like Ultimate Fighter Season 11 Winner, Court McGee and also Mike Kyle 17-7-1 superstar of the UFC, WEC and Strikeforce. They will be signing autographs and taking pictures as we celebrate this opportunity to fight for Children’s Hospital.

On September 25th, Coors Light Presents "Champions For Children.” This will be the first annual Mixed Martial Arts event produced by PureCombat on behalf of Children's Hospital Central California; benefiting the hospitals fund raiser “Campaign For Children's”. Come out and support this effort and "YOU" too can be a Champion.

Come prepared for food, fun and a Silent Auction with many items such as gym memberships, games, gift certificates, weight loss programs and even a kitchen faucet is up for grabs….. All of which will go towards making this event a successful one. PureCombat is proud to represent the sport of Mixed Martial Arts in such a powerful and meaningful way. To be embraced by Children’s Hospital and be given this chance to help in their fund raising campaign means so much to us and it’s a very positive indication of acceptance for the sport.

The AfterParty….. Will be hosted by the wonderful and delicious Bobby Salazar’s located in the heart of downtown Clovis between 4th & 5th Streets. Feel free to leave your cars parked and just stroll over to enjoy the atmosphere and conversation of this nights events. Offered by Bobby himself is a late night buffet and for $10 you get in and get fed…….They feature a full bar and a wait staff that will cater to your every need.

The Card is packed with great fighters in great matches and will end with the Main Event being a battle for PureCombat’s recently vacated 170 lb Welterweight Belt. Brock “The Machine” Jardine vs Tony “El Cucuy” Ferguson who’s both got winning records. Morris was injured in training. Also look forward to Olympic Silver Medalist/Fresno State Alumni Stephen Abas vs Martin "Tarzan" Sandoval, at one of the most exciting weight classes, the 135 lb. division. Brodie Farber whose last 2 fights have been in the UFC and is also a Fresno State Alumni will be meeting the man with the fastest KO in the world …..3 sec KO Steve “Dangerous” Ramirez who won that honor at PureCombat’s July 25 2009 Home Turf event at the Tulare Ag Center.

PureCombat vet Rodney Rhoden has agreed to pit his knock out record against Rob Emerson’s UFC past. Also on the card is Mike Guidry vs Ben Davis, Rafael Urena vs Dominic Clark, Cole Nagy vs Daniel Price, Anthony Vidal vs Jose Torres, Joey De La Cruz vs Raul Sandoval, Jose Jimenez vs Josh Miranda, Josh Herrick vs TBD and a fem fight with Trish Pinon vs Ana Senn.
