Piccinini Issues Statement
Coach Roberto Piccinini, the head coach at the Piccinini Training
Center located in Downtown Los Angeles, is surprised and
disappointed by the announcement from Rafael Cordeiro (Pictures) that all ties have been severed
between him and the Chute Boxe team. Even more so, that the news
came to him through a news article rather than a by a personal
communication even after his 27 years of faithful service.
Regardless, Coach Roberto recognizes Rudimar Fedrigo as his original trainer and Chute Boxe as his traditional style and wishes only that his friendship and loyalty had been honored in return. Piccinini Training Center does not promote itself as a "Chute Boxe Gym" but the fact remains the head coach teaches in the Chute Boxe style, a style in which he has been training since 1980.
Despite the personal implications of the recent publication, Coach Roberto and the Piccinini Training Center are not deterred in their mission to be a thriving, professional mixed martial arts training facility, providing top-level training for students and producing healthy, successful and professional athletes. Piccinini Training Center, located at 1335 S Flower St. in Downtown LA, opened its doors in November of 2007, and those doors remain always open to all athletes interested or involved in the MMA world who wish to train with one of the top coaches in the industry.
In fact, the Piccinini Training Center would like to announce an open fight call for all athletes interested in joining the PTC Fight Team. The open call will take place in March 2008. Please check the website, www.piccininigroup.com, for continuing information.
