Poll: Ninja or Lawler?
In eight months, Los Angeles-based ProElite's respected live fight
division, EliteXC, led by President Gary Shaw, has gained the
reputation for delivering consistently competitive, thrilling and
memorable live Mixed Martial Arts events that showcase the world's
top fighters.
On Saturday, Sept. 15 at Blaisdel Arena in Oahu, Hawaii, on SHOWTIME (10 p.m. ET/PT, delayed on the west coast), EliteXC, in association with Hawaii-based promoters, ICON Sport and ROTR (Rumble On The Rock), will promote another outstanding cage fight card.
In an excellent five, 5-minute round, pick ‘em main event, talented, crowd-pleasing EliteXC middleweight champion, Murilo "Ninja" Rua, will defend against the always-dangerous, offensive-minded ICON Sport titleholder, "Ruthless" Robbie Lawler (Pictures).
So, who do you think will win -- "Ninja," who's strategy will be to try and take the fight to the ground, or Lawler, who is at his best at standup?
