RAGING WOLF V -- Mayhem in the Mist
(PRESS RELEASE) -- Raging Wolf Productions is hosting its fifth
sanctioned mixed martial arts (MMA) event, “Mayhem in the Mist,” on
Saturday Oct 10th, 7 pm at the Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel in
Niagara Falls. Doors will open at 5:30 pm.
In August 2008 the Seneca Nation of Indians passed a resolution allowing mixed martial arts on the sovereign territory of the Seneca Nation. This exciting combative sport has been banned in New York since 1997. This will be the first time the Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel has ever hosted a live mixed martial arts event.
According to Cathy Walker, COO of SGC, "Seneca Gaming Corporation is excited to host a new entertainment experience in Niagara Falls. Raging Wolf is one of the premier MMA promoters in the United States and we look forward to working together to make this event a huge success. "
Raging Wolf V – Mayhem in the Mist will feature both amateur and professional bouts, and for the first time ever Raging Wolf will hold title matches for the Raging Wolf belt. The Mayhem in the Mist will feature the best MMA fighters in Western New York, as well as nationally recognized talent.
“The combination of athletic talent assembled on this Pro and Amateur card will rival any top promotion in the world,” said premier matchmaker Paul Andres Domenech.
The main event will feature WEC veteran Kyle Jensen out of Thief River Falls, MN and Yves Edwards who has fought as a lightweight in UFC, PRIDE, BodogFIGHT, and EliteXC events. Our co-main event will feature female mixed martial artists, Alexis Davis of Canada and Molly Helsel of Oceanside, CA.
