Rocktagon MMA Announces Full Line-Up for ‘Elite 6 Pro-Am’

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Ohio’s premier amateur mixed martial arts
promotion, Rocktagon MMA, recently announced that their highly
anticipated Pro-Am series returns to Ohio on July 30 with ‘Elite 6
Pro-Am’. Ohio’s premier fight organization, known for their highly
touted “Amateur Elite” mixed martial arts series, broke into the
Professional MMA scene in February with Bender vs. Hughes.
Rocktagon MMA’s ‘Elite 6 Pro-Am’ will take place on Saturday, July
30 at the North Olmsted Soccer Sportsplex in North Olmsted,
Ohio.
Rocktagon MMA is coming off of a very successful event in Richmond, California. The amateur MMA event, ‘Battle on the Bay’, was the organizations first of many on the West Coast. According to Rocktagon MMA executives they couldn’t be happier with the results and are moving full steam ahead with their plans to expand nationally.
According to Rocktagon MMA CEO James Jeda, “This month marks a
significant milestone for our organization and we couldn’t be
happier. Not only did Rocktagon MMA successfully make its debut in
the Western region on Saturday, our Pro-Am event returns to Ohio
this weekend. In the span of one week Rocktagon MMA will be hosting
MMA events on both coasts. It doesn’t get better than that! “
Jeda went on to say, “We are very excited about the future and have big plans to elevate Rocktagon MMA’s presence on a national level. We have big plans, plans that include bringing Rocktagon MMA's Pro Series to the West coast by the end of 2011."
The Rocktagon MMA ‘Elite 6 Pro-Am’ event features a fight card that rivals any Pro-Am event on the East Coast. In the main event, Rocktagon’s current welterweight champion Micah Bender (9-5-0) will defend his title for the first time against Vision MMA fighter Chris Curtis (5-2-0). The card also features Dennis Brown out of New York making his pro debut, a 205lb amateur championship title match between Matt DiCenso out of Canada and Rocktagon’s reigning light heavyweight champion Tony Dipiero, and much more!

Earlier this year the organization added the element of live
concert performances to select Rocktagon MMA events …and fans can’t

special live performances by Ohio based rock bands, ‘Oblivea’ and
