Rumble At Rexall Rescheduled

(PRESS RELEASE) -- An unforeseen scheduling conflict at the venue
has forced the East West Fighting Championships to postpone their
inaugural professional MMA event, "Rumble at Rexall", until
September 4 at Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta.
The event had originally been set for June 5.
"The people at Rexall approached me with a scheduling conflict they
had discovered and asked if we could move the event back,"
explained EWFC President, Michael Jones. "Some may have looked at
it as a setback, but I looked at it as an opportunity because we
are a new organization and there are extensive preparations
involved with putting on a world-class show. This will give us even
more time to make sure we hit the ground running with a tremendous
sold-out event."
Jones says Rumble at Rexall's rescheduling will also be beneficial for many of the area's most loyal MMA fans. "September 4 will be the first week of school, and a night of world-class MMA will be a great way for students to let off some steam. We've decided to offer them a special discount on tickets. Presenting a valid student card will get them a discounted student price on a great seat."
What are the East West Fighting Championships?
The classic rivalry -- East vs. West.
